Blue Buffalo Grass is a summer perennial forage grass. It has a good digestibility and palatability and is suitable for direct grazing, hay-making and silage. It is cold and drought tolerant and can grow in most soil types, except sandy soils. It is well adapted to a wide range of climactic conditions, but its optimal growing temperature is 35°C.
