WETLAND MIX
Wetland Mix is a perennial mix including Llanero, MG-5, Paspalum and Tall Fescue. It is a perennial mixture of wetland grasses that are ideal for higher rainfall regions with extended periods of waterlogging. Some of the benefits of the Wetland Mix are; good digestibility and palatability; good dry matter production; tolerates extended periods of waterlogging. The Wetland Mix is suitable for Game, Sheep, Goats and Cattle. It can be used for direct grazing and hay-making.
MG-5
MG 5 is a perennial and tropical grass that can be grazed by beef and dairy cattle. It is not consumed by horses. It is resistant to cold weather with a good and fast regrowth after the event. It has a high drought tolerance and shows good regrowth after grazing.
Llanero
Llanero is a semi-upright perennial grass. It is often referred to as a water grass because it can withstand periods of temporary waterlogging in the soil. It also tolerates acidic, sandy and low fertility soils. It can be grazed by Cattle, Sheep, Horses, Goats, Game.
Paspalum
Paspalum (Bahia grass) is a summer growing perennial forage crop. It is a creeping grass that grows with rhizome-like stolons. It is very drought resistant and adapts easily to dry conditions. It is effective in combating soil erosion.
Tall Fescue
Tall Fescue is a perennial forage grass that is well adapted to a wide range of soil types. It can tolerate prolonged periods of waterlogging. It has a good production of dry matter and can withstand heavy grazing. It is effective in erosion control.
