Brachiaria brizantha cv. MG-5 Victoria
MG-5 is a hardy perennial summer grass with a good production of dry matter. It produces a large amount of dormant seed that are not sterile. It can be grazed by cattle, sheep, goats and game. It has a high drought tolerance and shows good regrowth after grazing. It is best suited to sandy soils, but it tolerates clay and acidic soils. MG-5 can withstand temporary waterlogging, which makes it a great addition to our Wetland Mix.
