Rhodes Grass is a perennial summer forage grass native to Africa. It is drought and cold tolerant and can grow in most soil types. It is effective in controlling weeds, preventing soil erosion and improving the soil nutrient quality. It is tolerant to high levels of sodium in the soil. It is also tolerant to heavy grazing.
