SUPER SORGHUM MIX
Super Sorghum Mix is a two species sorghum mix consisting of perennial Super Sorghum SE and annual Sweet Betty. It is a good all-round, cost-effective mixture with reasonable yields. A benefit of having a mixture of an annual and a perennial is that it prevents bunching and over-crowding of plants at the base. Another benefit of this mixture is its salinity tolerance. The Super Sorghum Mix is suitable for Sheep, Goats and Cattle. It can be used for forage and silage.
Super Sorghum SE
Super Sorghum SE is a specialized perennial forage crop of Brasuda. It has a good biomass and a good protein content. It is used for both forage and silage. It has symbiotic nitrogen fixation capabilities, which reduces the need for additional fertilizers and acts as an organic matter booster in the soil.
Sweet Betty
Sweet Betty is a high yielding sorghum hybrid with high sugar and energy levels. It is extremely palatable and digestible and can withstand intensive grazing. It has a high leaf to stem ratio, making it desirable when utilized for direct grazing.
